Welcome to my reNEWed blog!


Hi everyone!

You may remember my old blog called "Jen's Keto Eats" (ketoeats.blogspot.ca). Well, this is the same blog... Only I've spent the last ~week redoing the layout/theme/etc. Part of my reason for doing this was to help motivate myself to use the blog more. I hope to do some new things with this blog that I only thought about doing with the last one. They are:

  • Feature recipes by other bloggers
  • Create an on-going list of favourite house recipes to act as an easy reference for viewers
  • Possibly include a rating system for each recipe (probably stars) for how difficult/time consuming each recipe is
  • Create a list about what tools/gadgets I rely on
  • Create a list of my usual groceries, or at least the staple items
  • Post pictures of my cats because why not?!
Though the site is up and running now, I still have a few more things to add (e.g. information) and update (e.g. recipe lists). In the meantime, I hope you all enjoy this new blog - I sure have so far. 

I would also like to extend a huge thank-you to my friends from ##loseit, Stingroo and Chaoticgeek, who helped me figure out some particularly tricky parts of this process. Chaoticgeek gave his assistance to me without complaint, for which I am immensely thankful as I have been clueless for the last few days. I will quickly say that the reason I have not been posting is because of personal things going on in my life. Stingroo tolerated my shenanigans while I tried to figure out this new blog, but more importantly, he has been a wonderful friend and very encouraging; his enthusiasm for my recipes helped me feel excited about the blog again, and thus I have produced Fat Cat Cuisine. Thank you to my other friends at ##loseit who provide their support and encouragement. I hope you all enjoy the recipes to come.
